My neighborhood

I live in Iquitos, in Yavari street, my house is in the block number 5. I like my neighbourhood because I have a lot of friends since I was a little girl. I have many childhood memories but the one that makes me laugh until today is the when I was 5 years old and I was playing in the middle of the street because there was no cars. So that, my friends and I decided to go running while it was raining, that was an unforgettable moment due to everyone was having so much fun until I fell down and I broke up my leg. I still remember the worried faces of 5 little children watching me cry. 

I have to say that it was really painful, but if I could change something in that day, like don't go out, I wouldn't change absolutely nothing. It was an amazing day and of course I knew that I would not forget it. Fortunatly, I got better in 2 months.

There are lot of places to visit in my neighbourhood, close to my home there is the Main Square, it is 4 block turning right to the Fizcarraldo street. Near of that you can go to the cinema or if you want to buy a book, you can go to the bookstore which is next to the cinema. But if you just want to read a book or know more about the amazon culture through the reading, you can go to virtual library, which is located just a block turning left from the corner of the Yavari with Fizcarraldo. 

In my family everyone is religious, for that reason I was used to go to the church every sunday until I turned 13.  I liked going there since I felt lucky because none of my friends had a church that close to their home. The church is in the corner of Putumayo street and Arica street. 

My house has 2 stairs, in the upstair there are 3 bedrooms, one is my dad and mom's bedroom and the other 2 are mine and my sister's bedroom. In the downstair there is a living room, the kitchen, dining room and two bathrooms. I usually stay in my bedroom because I have everything I need there.
